At Premier Bank, we want to celebrate Dubuque and the surrounding areas through images taken by our customers and friends.

Photo Submission Guidelines & Tips 

• Here are a few things you should know: 
• Every photo must be taken in the Dubuque and surrounding areas.
• For our purposes, horizontal photos work better than vertical ones, so turn your smart phone and snap away!
• Your photo can represent the city literally or metaphorically (meaning everything from a landscape to something more artistic and open, not excluding people as long as you have permission!)
• Shoot in black and white, or color—you’re the photographer, it’s your choice
• Consider lighting—the brightest light should be shining on the subject from behind the camera.
• When outdoors, an hour after sunrise or an hour before sunset is usually the best time for natural light.
• Have a clear focal point, like a single subject in the background or foreground.
• The higher the quality of the photo, the better the chance it has of being selected.
• Premier may or may not use the photo you have submitted.
• If your photo is selected, you’ll be notified by email. The selected photos might be used for:
  • Main image on premierbanking.com
  • Cover image on Premier’s Facebook page
  • Marketing materials (we'll obtain additional permission prior for use other than website or Facebook )

Of course, there are a few things we can’t (and won’t) show:

• Imagery that’s obscene, racist or objectifying to any person
• Subject matter that is overtly negative, shocking or depressing
• Copyrighted material (unless we, Premier Bank, have received the rights to use from the photographer. Professional Photographers may provide images if they wish to give us rights to display the photo. We will even link back to your website!)
• Anything that contains personally identifiable information
• We reserve the right to omit any other images that are not acceptable by our standards
